Marcus,

You've managed to correctly name 3 out of those you've listed so far.

Which do you nominate as the right ones?

Ada

ScotsDave
31st July 2005, 01:30
PIK is Prestwick International in Scotland - should be MIS for Misery! Was described last year in a Travel Supplement as like being in East Germany before the wall came down!!!

MarcusMel
31st July 2005, 01:47
After I had posted my answer I checked on the web and found Bob Dillan to be wrong - I had intended to put Dave Clark Five but chickend out on that and chose Bob instead thinking that Dave Clark Five was too old for the first TOP but it turns out that my insticnts were better than I thought.

Roberto

PIK is Prestwick International in ScotlandI've been there, too ... but still didn't remember it. (Stopped there once on the way from Manchester to Toronto ... it's the nearest I've ever been to Glasgow ...). It's a better airport than Ilya Del Sol, I can tell you.

TheGoodGuy

sparkyminer
1st August 2005, 19:34
I didn't know you could request topics. :)
I'll have Longwall Mining techniques please. :D

TheGoodGuy
3rd August 2005, 00:45
Ok Sam,

I do have a slightly different '80's lyrics quiz for you for Friday night.
However, it is quite large in size, so I will have to split it into several parts, just so I stand half a chance of confirming the answers submitted.

That will also depend on how popular it may be!

I must add that it is by no means my own work, and I can take no credit for it's originality......in other words it is easily accessible on the Net via Google etc.

So if I post it, I would appreciate it that those who participate will have the decency not to 'kill' it too quickly by just googling the answers, and let those who take part with the 'fun' factor in mind get their chance to have a go first.

Regards

Ada.

PS.
Sparky....Mining questions.... Hmmm......sorry mate. Now if you were female.....maybe, who knows?? :D
