what happens if a winner weighs in differently after the race than the pre race weight. does it ever happen?? do they allow any difference at all??

It happened last week, disqualified....2nd promoted......nice they threw out the Pro-Loser, and my win bet then won :D

Weighing out is just a chance to sit on the scales and make sure the jock has enough weight (99.9% of the time he will as the valets are shrewdies). He can come back in a different weight, but as long as he's over the declared weight he/she is good. When you think about the mud that gets plastered on them on soft going, that alone isprobably worth a pound or two!
