I came up with this system, while my wife was going through months of data she keeps.

Rules:

Select 6 numbers between 1-49
Go to your local shop, and place a £1 line on them.

Simple eh? This system ensures your chance of winning is around 14,000,000/1

I like that one Keith, isn't there a staking system somewhere on the site to help maximise the profits. Actually I just invented one. Pick an extra set of numbers each week, then stop at a winner and go back to the start then. Should prove really profitable in the long run...........

I used a good little system playing the lottery costing £7.
Pick 7 numbers and 'perm' them up. This means that if you have 3 numbers, you get £40 back instead of £10.

I gave it up when they brought out the pick 2/3/4 numbers thing.

Would this be a 'Stop at a winner' system? :laugh

Would this be a 'Stop at a winner' system?

Definitely! All my own hard work though. Of course the profits will all be Camelot's:giggle

I just wondered if anyone would take my suggestion seriously

You weren't being serious? I can't see why not, this system looks like a winner whatever way you look at it......as long as you have your eyes shut :smk

i never play the lottery. I remember someone saying "it is a tax on the poor and hopelessly optimistic" I think that just about sums it up nicely

I thought it was a tax on people who are no good at maths

I do it anyway,but then i'm optimistic.

From 6 seed numbers you could have won the Jackpot every week using a combination of multiplication – division – addition.

Seed numbers A= 1 : B= 4 : C= 10 : D= 30 : E= 17 : F= 25

Winning numbers Saturday 1/05 5-6-10-15-27-49 No need for the bonus as the Jackpot will be won :D

Number 1 = A+B
Number 2 = C-B
Number 3 = C
Number 4 = A+B+C
Number 5 = C+E
Number 6 = (D-C)+(B+F)

Any of the 6 Main Balls can be found from a combination of the seed Numbers

01,03,26,34,43,47 1=A 2=B-A 3=A+F 4=D+B 5=(C+D)+(B-A) 6=D+E
01,03,04,05,17,37 ?
07,19,20,29,41,49 ?
03,21,31,42,47,48 ?
01,03,22,32,38,44 ?

Go on try all the combinations you cannot lose. :wink

Backing 14,000,000/1 horses would make you poor :)

but how many horses can you put a £1 on and win £1,000,000+?

Actually, if you back the rank outsider of each of the biggest handicaps in a acca, you still get better odds at that £Million than the lottery. Probably £Billion if they are all 50/1, and the odds are still more in your favour than the lotto.

I was just pointing out that for a £1 you have as much chance winning the lottery as you would a horse, due to the fact that i have never seen a horse at 1,000,000/1! Unless you could tell me different?

Win2Win

You said horses, not horse :doh

6 Numbers=6 horses

You only need to pick 6 X 10/1 winners in an acca which is much easier statistically than selecting the lottery number.

Sorry my mistake i meant horse, i do get the point, i was just looking at it from a different angle.

Maybe the lottery would be easier if we knew the molecular weight of each ball, the room temperature, % of gases..........I'll have to go, the docs back.......

Just lay your six numbers to loose :) simple!

(only thing is that your liability would be millions - ok for keith and the like, but not us ordinary joe's) :D
