Mix up the funky riffs akin to Jack Johnson with the grooves of Ben Harper, add a little full sound and make it a little crazier, and what have you got - The John Bulter Trio.
I'm in the process of downloading a few tracks of his - some of which come from the album Sunrise Over Sea. He's done a few albums though.
I recommend the tracks TREAT YO MAMA and PICKAPART so far. Both of these have some of the best intros I've ever heard in music.
