ah right, Ive heard of them. I have to be honest, ive never much been interested in European football. Its very rare I watch the champions League and I think its because its just not something my team will ever be part of. I can just about watch the Premiership because we do get to play teams in that league in cup competitions and there is a slim chance you can get there - but Europe has always seemed a bit boring to me.

Haven't Eintect Frankfort won it?

No.

Here's a quick European Cup quiz - no googling:

1. Player to have won the European Cup most times - name him and the number of times.
2. Manager to have won the European Cup most times - name him and the number of times.
3. Only player to have won the European Cup with three teams - name him and the teams.
4. Which city has provided two European Cup winning sides? Milan - Inter and AC
5. Most consecutive years in the European Cup - name the team and number of years.
6. Two people have won the European Cup as player and coach - name them and the teams.
7. Name the only father and son to have captained European Cup winning sides.
8. Who were the first side to win the European Cup without having won their domestic title or the European Cup in the previous season?
9. Which team is the only one to have won the European Cup more times than they've won their own domestic title? Nottingham Forest won 1st Division and European Cup in 1978 and defended the cup in 1979

I'll check your answers later....

Right - thought I'd better give you the answers as they're a bit overdue now. Surprised you lot didn't get more of these than you did though:

1. Player to have won the European Cup most times - name him and the number of times.
2. Manager to have won the European Cup most times - name him and the number of times.
3. Only player to have won the European Cup with three teams - name him and the teams.
4. Which city has provided two European Cup winning sides?

Blue ones were answered correctly:
