For those of you who didn't take part in the prize quiz, here it is in all its glory for you to have a go at for fun, if you're at a loose end over the festive period.

Doctor Anderson & Doctor Boswell both had six patients to see in six ten-minute time slots between 9 &10 o’clock, with each patient suffering from a different complaint.
From the following information can you work out which patient saw which doctor at which time and what complaint each patient was suffering from?
i) Katie saw Doctor Anderson at 9.20 that morning; the male patient next but one after her was suffering from a broken toe.
ii) When Barbara left her doctor’s consulting room Hilary was called in by the same doctor.
iii) Donald was having his regular diabetic check-up; his appointment was 20 minutes after Joan saw his doctor’s partner.
iv) Edward was seen at the same time as the asthma patient, and 20 minutes before the man with angina.
v) The patient who saw Doctor Boswell at 9.40 was one of only two females on his morning list; she was followed into his consulting room by the man with a virus infection.
vi) The patient with a bad back was seen by Doctor Anderson at the same time as the one with a heavy cold saw Doctor Boswell.
vii) Leonard was Doctor Boswell’s 9.30 patient.
viii) The first name of Doctor Anderson’s first patient of the day contained an odd number of letters.
ix) The woman with the upset stomach, who was not Christine, was seen half an hour after the migraine sufferer by the same doctor.
x) Ian was seen at the same time as the patient with a nerves problem.
xi) The patient with high blood pressure had an earlier appointment than the one who was anaemic, and Alistair was seen earlier than Gordon.

Starting from the left, the number that makes up the first two digits is divisible by 2,
the number that makes up the leftmost three digits is divisible by 3,
the leftmost four divisible by 4,
the leftmost five by 5,
and so on for the nine digits of the number.

Example: Let’s say the first three digits of the number are 123xxxxxx.
The number making up the first two digits, 12 (twelve), is divisible by 2.
The number making up the leftmost three digits, 123 (one hundred and twenty three), is divisible by 3……….
and so on.

Each digit in the number is different, i.e. no digits are repeated.
