talking bikes, not dodgy vindaloos! If you like the odd 'feelgood' movie, this is one of the best I've ever seen. Sir Anthony Hopkins plays Burt Munro, a slightly eccentric 68 year old New Zealander with a passion for his old 1920's Motorcycle, and his dream of running it at Bonneville flats... the film follows him on his quest to try and get the bike over there to have a bash at the speed records... Hopkins is superb (as always), the script is full of dry wit, and the whole movie just leaves you with a really happy warm feeling.... and it's a true story. Rent it, buy it, steal it, whatever - just get a hold of a copy and enjoy! The review below on the IMDB is written by a Kiwi, and is very good.

Talking of New Zealand, you ever seen Carry Me Back?

After a trip to North Island to watch a rugby game, two brothers have to smuggle the body of their recently-deceased father back to the South Island in order to satisfy one of the terms of his will, that he has to die on the family farm, so that they can inherit it. I seem to remember it being quite funny in places.

That sounds familiar Glos... I may have seen it or heard someone else talking about it and recommending it. I'll try and get a hold of it from Blockbuster online
