abandonware - is apparently free to download (and play) - because the software is basically obsolite.

pretty tricky to load (they are DOS games), and i am usless with DOS - you will also need DOSbox - software on the site to load it.

been playing SWOS (sensible world of soccer) - the greatest ever football game bar non (don't even pretend the new FIFA / champ managers even come close :D ).

still not got the sound to work (goal scoring superstar hero (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nyxAXN9u49I)- yes i still remember the music :) )

Ideally, you need to get hold of an old 486 machine with a Soundblaster compatible card in it. Have a look on ebay - although it might cost more in postage than the machine is worth!
