4 dates.... call that a tour ;fire No way would I entertain giving them £90 plus the usual fees for a ticket. I'll borrow and copy the DVD when it comes out....

Tickets are rediculously inflated lately, and I reckon it's due to ebay!

I fancied getting tickets for the American Football match at wembley later this year, but they had 4 times the amount of seats in ticket appplications
by the end of the day they asked for interested people's details.

I remember thinking to myself, how many of those are genuine american football fans, and how many just apy for tickets to everything just to try to sellat inflated prices on ebay! :ermmm

There are quite a few events I don't find out about till a few weeks after tickets have gone on sale, and by then you have no chance of getting a ticket through the proper channels.

For sporting events you need to join that many members/supporters clubs in order to get tickets it's ridiculous these days.

Tickets for popular events such as the big festivals and concerts that every man his dog want to go to probably sell as many to touts as they do to proper fans or festival goers.

Some of them sell for ridiculous prices on ebay, and ticket selling sites.
On ebay you can expect to pay more for them because the seller has to pay ebay and paypal fees but the starting price of some of them is way above what the seller has paid.
You can also get good bargains on ebay though for smaller gigs so I guess it's swings and roundabouts.
I have sold tickets for genuine reasons but all I have ever asked for is the money I have laid out plus the fees.
I could buy up tickets to the major events and stick them on ebay and make a tidy profit, especially as I get pre-sale for alot of them ,but that just isn't me.
Those who use ebay to sell loads of tickets to all the big events should be stopped, it's easy to tell who they are from their feedback.
I don't agree with stopping all sales of tickets though because then those who have genuinely bought them to attend and can't make it will lose out.

Due to a sell out of the above shows they have now added an extra date ( day after ) at Birmingham, London and Manchester.

Really good isn't it... 3 more dates, not at different parts of the country, but the same bloody venues they're already playing... would it really have hurt them to get off their asses and take the shows to Scotland, Ireland and maybe even somewhere on the south coast.

I couldn't quite believe it either.
They were most popular in the Great Britain but now they would rather tour anywhere but.

Look at the venues too, all of them massive venues due to attract a colossal number of people, making even easier to charge over the odds on ticket prices. Ridiculous! Not that I'm complaining as I'd never pay £90 for a ticket anyway, not even to see Oasis.

I'd pay £90 for a band like Bon Jovi or U2, thats about it though.
If you live near the venue its ok, I last saw U2 in Twickenham so I had travel costs plus a hotel on top of the ticket price
