....and for once it's a decent statue, so many these days are done with 'modern fart' in mind, and end up looking utter crap.

Great man....still funny after all these years, and died doing what he enjoyed most :thumbs

Brilliant, that'll frighten the crap out of any unsuspecting drunks on a Friday night!. Great tribute to a proper genius, one of a very rare breed of comics, I guess up there with the likes of Eric Morecambe, Hancock, Les Dawson, and old Doddy...

Its amazing its taken so long to get him a statue.Along with Eric Morecambe...he is one of legends of British comedy....long overdue.

I agree. You'd have thought they would have done it long ago. JUST LIKE THAT.:D
