Watched these two the last few days, and unusual to find two decent films to watch in a row. Numerous ones before were utter crap.
Anyway, the first one was SHOOTER. Good acting, good script & storyline, and keeps you in suspense (not suspenders Vegy!). Although the film pans out the way you think it will, how it gets there keeps you chewing the popcorn (crumbs all over the :censored: bed :splapme).
The next one was NEXT - with Nicholas Cage. Now I don't remember seeing any reviews for this on the TV, and yet I put this in my Best of the Year class. The film is rivetting, and as Cage produced it as well, a damn good job :). It's like a book that you can't put down (or a dog!), and no way could you figure out the end. Very clever the way the whole film was done. ***** :thumbs
