Yes looks like Mardle is going to be the whipping boy again. Iwas very dissapointed with Barney seemed to give up mid game. I think Thornton would of been a good choice rather than Mardle

Amazingly looking back at the PDC order of merit once the top six got in automaticaly Mardle was next in line, although that is probably because he did relatively well at last years world championship. He seems to be much more interested in entertaining rather than winning.

Have to agree about Thornton when you look at what he's achieved in the short time since he joined the PDC.

I had Part (+2.5) on the handicap and it was settled as a loser so I thought Anderson won 7-4, but several sites seem to have the result the other way round

I think the problem was the score was the wrong way round in the summary at the top of that page on Thursday but correct lower down in the actual report. Perhaps the BBC etc took their scores off that page (or wherever) when it was being incorrectly reported as a Part win as they still show it as 7-4 Part.

I had a similar problem with the bbc site in the BDO world championship at the start of the year which was something of a surprise as it was their channel that was televising it.
