I had one disastrous attempt at this some time ago so I wouldn't be confident advising anyone viewing this for anything more than light entertainment for the first while.

I will be keeping it simple and only be backing over/under 2.5 goals market as I've had some success in the past.

I will be backing all of the selections but maybe not for the same stakes.

Mainly using Betfair.

My first bet will be on the unders in BlackBurn/Wolves game. Will wait on prices before deciding on stakes.

Nice one YT, always good to see a new sort of idea.

So, here goes for my maiden voyage:

Blackburn/Wolves - so many reasons why this should be unders (or a draw for that matter) that I won't bother getting into it.

£100 at 1.75 on BF.

Potential profit (net commission) £71.25.

I'll be having a ton on this myself.

Not the best of starts - Blackburn had only scored 1 goal in the Premiership before Saturday. Still, it wasn't a rash bet so I'm quite confident that if I maintain my discipline I will be able to turn a profit.

Will post bet for the weekend nearer the time.

Blackburn only scored 1 goal before Saturday. That's the way the cookie crumbles.

Will post next bet nearer the weekend.

Under 2.5 in the Birmingham/Bolton game. Expect birmingham to win 1-0 but don't expect many goals in this grizzly affair. 8/13 generally available.

Bet €100.

Potential profit €61.50

Bit of a stinger - 1 goal after 84 minutes but that's the luck of the draw.

Next bet is €86 @ 4/7 over 2.5 Arsenal/Olympiakos.

Potential profit €50

The tide would want to turn sharpish or it's back to back hall of shame for me and the mythical poor house!

Bank now €665.

Will see if any internationals take my fancy but will probably wait until the Premiership gets underway again.

Potential profit €52.

Need to start getting back on the winning trail!

Another one bites the dust. The absence of Torres and Gerrard didn't help my cause but Liverpool were dire.

Looks like an even 20 years before a title based on that performance.

Bank now €600.

Breaking from convention here and going with Spurs to beat Everton at home. Everton are decimated with injury and had a tough game on Sunday. Moyes isn't happy and Spurs should be winning this.

4/6 seems more than reasonable and I'm going to have a €100 on.

A winner, forgotten what that was like!

Bank €666. Long way to go. I'm going to aim to get it up to €2,000 and call it quits if I can manage that.
