Bought a 22" Dell 2209WA monitor a couple of months ago and I'm thrilled with it. Of the dozen or so people that have seen it since, they've all admired it and some have ordered.
I stuck with my old cathode tube monitor because I do quite a bit of photography and the colour of flat screens just didn't do it for me. This particular Dell model was recommended on a several photo forums and I took the plunge. It uses a different type of screen technology that gives a much better picture at wide angles of view and the colours are superb. There's even a guy giving an impressive demo on YouTube, if you search for it.
To top it all, it has a five year on site g'tee and it was delivered within 18hrs.!! ZERO dead or bright pixels and, from what I've heard, even if it had they would've taken it straight back and replaced it under Dell's zero dead pixel g'tee.
Although it's 1080 res., I quite like the black bars top and bottom on movies - the software controls fit nicely in there.
