That time of year...

As usual, it's that time of year where we all fork out loads of money on Christmas Cards and minutia for the Office, often giving to people who we meet just once a year at the annual shin-dig.

This year, do something different!

Head off to ActionAid (google it) or similar and donate the money to a good cause! You can even send an eCard to let them all know that someone else is going to benefit this year.

50 cards at (say) 50p a card is going to cost you £25! This could buy training and equipment to get a village some clean water, saving hundreds of lives!

Also don't forget the shoe box appeal fantastic idea that i personally partake in every year and get immense enjoyment from

ALso worth checking out local hospices that look after terminally ill patients of all ages, often these are only funded by charitable donations, and do an amazing job.
