So Cowell has access to all the best singers in the world, musicians, band members, writers..... and for the charity song he pick an old REM song that is just morbid :splapme .... and has Cheryl Cole and Rod Stewart :doh

Charity songs are supposed to be happy and memorable so you don't forget the cause.. aka Bandaid ....

Why drag up old music, I'm sure someone must have had a song written that would have been appropriate.
