XP-ing me off

Hi,

Does anyone know the keyboard shortcut for 'Close Window' or 'Exit' in Windows XP? In Windows 98 it's Alt+F4 or Escape. I find Escape only works on certain things.

Also if I try opening up a MS Word Document, why does it seem to take forever to open? It's a new PC - 2.0GHz, 512Mb RAM, 80Gb HDD...

If you need particular software shortcuts, you'll find them in the programs HELP file.

Word documents can take longer to open if you have virus scanning in place. I personally prefer the extra time it takes rather than run the risk of opening an unscanned document.
