Another Problem

I keep having a problem with the back button.. intermittent but mainly when on the net and I go BACK I just get that blasted lack and white Problem page... the internet may be having problems or...' doesn`t happen on this site which seems odd but happens, for e.g. on my Yahoo Mail, ebay, etc etc..
any suggestions.. again, have run AV and no probs...
new laptop and Windows XP...it doesn`t happen all the time though.

Clean out your History file and Internet Temp files, and try that. It may be your Internet connection playing up.

When in IE, click >TOOL>INTERNET OPTION, then you'll see two buttons "CLEAR HISTORY" & "DELETE FILES". use them. Don't touch the cookies one, this will erase all memory of passwords, but if you already know them, you can clear this out as well, as it may be corrupt.
