Been a big Slade fan since I was 10, still got fond memories of 70,000 folk singing Merry Christmas Everybody at the 1981 Donington festival.... in August :)Originally Posted by GlosRFC

Clue for 17 - Used to be in Linda Ronstadt's band before going solo. This was his highest British hit in 1978. The opening chords were then used by the Eagles for their single Heartache Tonight. He later went on to form a band with an ex-10cc member.
Clue for 20 - Huge HUGE US band although not performing now. Had 10 UK chart hits with this being the highest. Probably fair to say that the various siblings have had much greater success as solo artists.
Clue for 21 - Normally known with a clerical nom-de-plume, a very popular soul and R & B singer although he concentrates more on gospel music nowadays.
Clue for 13 - none, 'cos it's so bleedin' obvious when you sing it :D

All night long, you’ve been looking at me
Well you know you’re the dance hall cutie that you love to be
Oh well now, you’ve been laying it down
You’ve got your hips swinging out of bounds
And I like the way you do what you’re doin’ to me
Alright
That’s right, that’s right, that’s right, that’s right I really love your tiger light
That’s neat, that’s neat, that’s neat, that’s neat, I really love your tiger feet

But now since I see you in his arms
(I want you back)
