gambling programme on C4,
sounds a bit like:
the gambler,
the ultimate gambler,
previously shown on bravo (possibly) - both were pretty cack, the 2nd on being a total muppet.

muppet oddsmaker.
if you would have said a number 1 hit - i would have given you 1000/1
but as you said a christmas number 1 i can onlly offer you 100/1 (as odd songs get to number 1 at chtistmas).
- a number 1 hit is still a number 1 hit no matter what time of the year. a number 1 hit gives you 52 chances a year to win. a crimbo number 1 can only happen once a year. (also more sales happen at crimbo than any other time).
Is this programme scripted??
The presenter was actually quite witty. When the bloke from Will Hills said that "Even Bob the Builder made it to number one", the presenter quipped
" Yeah, but he fixed it"
Not a bad show overall, but he painted the horses and dogs as a mugs game.
Tada gan iarracht
Whatever you think/thought of the programme, the associated web page page from

You'd be better off getting Prof Williams book, it's a good read and very informative
Did anyone hear any odds for the discovery of Atlantis? I could probably point him in the right direction.
