Got a bit lucky in the 3.00 when the leader fell two out left Caribou in front only to be collared by Crystal D'anay..

Also in the 3.20 Potts of Magic travelled really well but flattened out towards the end , i actually backed it for a place as i expected it to run well , but it always find one too good..

Hi Louey,

One thing i did learn on this site was start with a small bank and build it, that way if there any teething problems or you start the system on a bad run then if the bank busts its not the end of the world (i guessed you already knew that) So i started with a bank of £200 and staked each £6 on each lay, which equates to 3% of bank...and every time i increase the bank by a £100 i recalculate the 3% so from 300 its £9 and £400 £12...

the dog has thankfully overcome the fever, it was very touch and go...greyhounds are quite nervous animals so he's unsure of himself but in time he'll be ok...it doesn't help he was abandoned twice before we had him...people huh...

I'd say your taking a bit of a risk with staking in this manner David.

Suppose this were a win (back) system. Then 3% staking makes perfect sense as a loser only costs your stake. But with an 8/1 SP cut-off that could be a 10.0 Betfair cut-off so you could lose 27% of your bank on one loser. Would you stake a backing system at 27% of the bank? I know the SR is very different and all that sort of stuff but if I were you I'd drop that percentage staking down a lot as soon as possible. I use 1% staking with an 11.0 cut-off so the most I can lose is 10% of my bank on a loser. As my banks increase I am also reducing the percentage looking to get it down to 0.5% or lower in the future.

Thanks for the offer although its not as simple as that , because once i have the raw data i then have to see if it fits into the correct criteria, which means i have to have internet access to either the racingpost or sportinglife which are both banned in my firm...

For example in the 3.00 something's up won at 8/1 which is my cut-off it opened up at 9/1 unlikely i would have choose becuase of its opening price and also keltic moon was a stronger lay in that race but if i was rushing i may have made that mistake..

I have just checked through the qualfiers and there would have been 11 bets which all lost but if i added somethings up in then it would probably be all square for the day..

Well i have posted 12 days of lays on here which has so far produced just over 24 points to the good..The selections got off to a scorching start and went way beyond expectations and have in the last few days corrected themselves although the system has produced more points but i have been unable to post the selections during the week.

Anyway, i'm happy the way things have started and would of taken that if offered it at the start of my postings on here..
