    Another whatever happened to...?

This time it's tacker - anyone heard from him or seen him recently? He's not been on the forum since July but I have a sneaky feeling he has been off playing a lot of poker. This month's copy of Inside Poker magazine landed on my doorstep the other day and enclosed is Issue 2 of a PKR magazine called Stacked. And there on page 30 is a profile of a player called mayotacker, real name Shane Cawe from Naas in Ireland. That really rings a bell with me as being our tacker.

Sounds like he's doing alright for himself playing $2/$4 no-limit on PKR plus a few tourneys along the way. He was in Vegas for one of the $1500 no-limit WSOP events having bought in with PKR player points and has won several grand at the cash tables apparently. And he's only playing in his spare time, fitting poker in around his normal day job as a ceiling fixer and looking after his family, including a 2-year-old daughter.

A Win2Win'er done good by the sound of it

Well spotted Mathare. I'd say that is him. If I remember correctly he used to go by the name 'mayonaas' on bet365 when we had the odd win2win game on there so that would certainly suggest it's him.

It's a small world - and I know chancer is his brother - we haven't seen a lot of him lately either.

In any case, that's fantastic, really well done to the guy.

Guilty.I think they wanted a winning mid stakes part timer to do a focus on this issue and since they had met me in vegas they asked me.Tbh if i knew it was going to say my real name and be given out with another magazine i wouldnt have done it.Might be harder for me to get action off new players.Last 4k hands on PKR have been -5k.Karma?

Nice to see the man himself make an appearance! I think your below quote - given you class yourself as a 'mid stakes part timer' - will actually hold you in higher regard to new faces in the game:

I was quite surprised they revealed your real name too actually. And I got two copies of the magazine as it came with both Inside Poker and Poker Player so goodness knows how many copies are out there
