    Angry Cost of Diesel

Oil prices are now 39% lower than when they were 147 dollars a barrel. How come diesel in my area is only 10% lower??

Because this is Rip-off Britain.......I've just ordered a new vehicle, always had diesel, this one is a petrol as over the long term it is now cheaper.

I was wondering that, prices of things went up because oil went up then oil came down in price but goods stayed higher in price.

its quite simple really when the price goes up they put there prices up and when it comes down they have too get rid of the stocks they bought when it was high. Come on they have to make a little profit somewhere.
so basically you're getting the oil a little bit cheaper then it should cost.

Yeah, and of course when the oil price goes up so does the petrol price even though they are selling off the old stuff they bought at cheaper prices! You can't win.

    Gordon Brown

It would seem Gordon Brown must have seen my Rant on this Forum!:D

In a statement issued today he has asked that the benefit of the reduction in oil prices are passed onto motorists.
