Ada's Eurovision Game 2009 - Anyone interested?

It's nearly that time of year again......unfortunately.....

Saturday 16th May to be precise.........it's EUROVISION time.

Just testing the water here (for the 4th year)..........

After the totally unexpected success of the 2006 Eurovision Game, especially the in-running commentary/banter/chat that took place between players & 'spectators' in the thread throughout the evening.....
& the maybe not quite so popular games in 2007 & 2008.........
......is anybody interested in having another go at predicting the Top 5 & Bottom 3 this year, for a 1st prize of a £10 Amazon eVoucher.


There are currently 42 countries competing for the 25 final places.
These places are determined by 2 semi-final shows (Tuesday 12th & Thursday 14th May) which will eliminate 17 of the 42 countries, leaving the 25 finalists for Saturday's show.

If there are sufficient numbers interested....I will post a game thread during the evening of Thursday 14th May containing the 25 countries that will be competing in the final.

You will then be required to PM or Email me the countries you think will finish in the TOP 5 & BOTTOM 3 places......PLUS a tie-breaker - in which position you think the UK entry will finish.

PS...Iron Chris will be going all-out to secure his 4th consecutive victory in this game.

All you'll have to do between 10.15 Thursday evening & 7.00 Saturday evening, is to Email or PM me with the names of the countries that you think will finish 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th..........AND.......23rd, 24th, 25th........PLUS the answer to a tie-break question......in which position (1-25) do you think the UK entry will finish?

The 25 countries taking part in the final on Saturday will not be known until the end of the 2nd semi-final show which is on tomorrow night (Thursday).

I will post a list of the 25 countries for you to choose from as soon after 10pm tomorrow (Thursday) as I can.

no secret pick a couple of ex russian countries i.e. slovakia , georgia etc to be in top 5 and have britain and malta in the bottom 3 and you cant go far wrong
