It's a chat room that was added for the Sim games that are no longer run.

I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one to say that I still miss the Horse Racing Sim, what an awesome game to play...
“One hundred years from now, it will not matter what my bank account was, how big my house was, or what kind of car I drove. But the world may be a little better, because I was important in the life of a child.”

I get my 'fix' on a free US sim. I run over 50 stables now! But it isn't as time consuming as you may think - I probably spend around 10 hours a week and most of that is on entries - and another couple of hours running comps for our residency.
It took me about 3 months to get my first win and over a year before I got my first Stakes victory. Add another couple of years before my first Graded win and you'll soon see that it isn't a 'jump in and enjoy the success'!
The game is as complicated as you want it to be and breeding and bloodlines play a big part in the game (but there's a massive amount of info available for those who like their stats).
It does reflect well on 'real life' in so much as spending loads of money (or the Sim equivalent) will probably get you a half-decent animal but for every decent one, there will be 3 or 4 that are never going to see much better than low level racing.
Yes, the Horse Racing Sim was fantastic. Full credit to Mark for running it so well and fluidly for the best part of (I think) 2 years? Maybe 3, I'm not sure.
