    Ecliptic(USA)

Hell, I could be wrong but the odds (around 5/s) today about this one seem rather generous after Libranno's stint yesterday & while I respect the chances of King Torus & Klammer, there's a line of form through yesterday's 2nd which suggests today's favourite (Formosina) has something to find on Ecliptic(USA).

2nd, unlucky. Would have won had he kept a straight line in the last furlong.

He would have alright! Slight jockey error IMHO - he was already veering right when the jock pulled his whip to the left & totally jinked to the right, then came flying...

But the time was too bad to be true, it was supposed to be a Gr2 race but the (0-90) Nursery (oh, that's handy, just noticed Klammer was entered for that with a rating of 95) was run in a faster time & I think the winner of that, Memen is safe for a follow up but

If Slim Shadey hadn't clocked time of the meet at Ascot the same day, I could be right down in the dumps thinking Ecliptic wasn't as good as first thought - he (SS) was behind King Torus at the Royal meet who in turn was behind Zaiden in the Chesham who I have on the Speed Figure thread, he's beginning to look special & hopefully, there should be another day for Ecliptic....

Thanks God we're so patient, only 455dys for a 5/4f, mazing.....

Not quite Sea The Stars in the Irish Champion but visually impressive: http://horses.sportinglife.com/Video...4704_3,00.html

& he makes his way into the 3yo Master List as he sneaked over the 110+ mark
