    Odds spreadsheet

Here is a spreadsheet I use (laminated back to back) and am able to carry anywhere. It is laid out using standard odds eg. 3/1 and also as a decimal for users of betfair. I have included an easy ready reckoner which shows how much to bet for a RETURN of ten pounds. This of course could be altered to suit your pocket. It works like this:
If a horse on betfair is shown at 1.5 (or one and a half) this equates to 6/4. The stake to return ten pounds would then be £4.00. EG. 1.5 X 4 = 6 + return stake of 4 = income of ten.
Quite simple, but I hope some people find it useful. I myself use it on betfair to figure out my stake for a standard return.
Print off - cut out - and laminate back to back.
    David

    PS (Editors note.

You will find on betfair that they include your return stake in their odds. Take off one point and you will arrive at the correct odds.
Example. Betfair odds. 2.5 is NOT 5/2 but 6/4. Please keep this in mind.

Thanks for posting that, David. I'll add it to my 'arsenal' of bookie-beating Spreadsheets.
