So have you got any horses you will be backing or looking forward to see at the Cheltenham Festival 2013?
A massive shame Big Buck's will be missing

& Darlan & Synchronised but
Was looking forward to Champion Bumper as thought for once might have winner in Red Sherlock but he may not run now..
Think the Gold Cup & Champion Hurdle are wide open bar maybe Bobs Worth in the GC
Bankers at this stage Overturn in the Arkle & Rolling Star in the Triumph
Best outsider so far Molotof in the Jewson put out by Oddschecker yesterday.
Oh & the amount of 'time of the meet's' Willie Mullins has earned over in Ireland all with hurdlers is quite phenomenal & can see even Quevega maybe getting beat by a 2nd string.
Have noted also, Jonjo O'Neill stable coming into form of late & he likely to land a handicap.

H'mm, the 2nd string I had in mind to give her a fright is not entered for that race - she [Glens Melody] is however 33/s for the Neptune Novice & runs today at Fairyhouse.
She could still lose to a 2nd string though imho but it will be from Nicky Henderson's yard if she runs from the 2 he has entered.
I will also be looking to see how well the
6yo's
go, in any of the races for which they are entered.

With the bloody weather we are having (random crap) it's impossible to really get behind a horse as it could be firm it could be heavy

No offence there but I tend to disagree -
1/ It's very rarely worse than soft at the festival (not been heavy last 4 years at least) & unless it's raining should be no worse than gd/st or better - it's a fast draining course after all.
2/ No, the problem I have & probably some trainers too imho - is picking the right race that the horse will run (like I did Noble Prince for Arkle & he wins the Jewson) in & I suppose the ground can often influence a trainer's decision.
& a fine case in point right now is Friday's Warwick fast time winner Ballynagour, he just got a whopping 157+ from me a 158 from the Racing Post ratings off've an official mark of 123 & has to be a handicap good thing for which ever race he gets in to - he's entered for six but don't ask me which one er' but also - one of the best contenders for winning two races at the festival I seen for donkeys
