The comet PanSTARRS is visible to the human eye in the Northern skies at around sunset. I'm off to see it this evening. Cloud cover is 50/50 so hopefully it either stays that way or clears up.

Nope, have been wanting to watch it since childhood, but never got the opportunity to watch it. Though i guess i have seen it once but wasn't sure. it was the same time and i was sitting after some surfing, having the surfboard in my hand and it was just like a glimpse, but who knows....
Well it was a waste of time. Clear skies and standing on top of the Great Orme with a lovely view, but no comet ... I could clearly see the Andromeda Galaxy and the Orion Nebulae. Another comet is due at the end of the year which should be much clearer
