    Staking

    Hi
    I have a question.
    1) If I start a win bank with £200 and stake 3% on each selection = £6.00

    2) If I start with a bank of £300 and stake 2% on each selection = £6.00

What will the long term effect be with both?
    Cheers
    Bryn

You have 50% more bank security with No.2 .... but you should start with 3% just to get off the ground. As your bank grows you should reduce the stakes.

Don't forget you can run 3 systems just by using 2 betting banks combined. Just a bit of leveraging.

    Hi Keith
One more question about "pro lays"
Given the different rules and large number of selections, what would the best way to set them up on a bot. As one system settings or more than one?

As a single system the bank will grow quicker, but splitting them up would add more security. I run them as one myself, buy you need to decide if you want growth or security.

How are you setting the bot up? You can run them as different systems, but use the one betting bank, and then adjust the stake daily, so it is the same for all throughout the day.

I am using "bet engine" bot to place the selections which at the moment have two tabs on it ????? I hope to use one for pro win bets and the other for lays.

Is that 11.0 betfair price or 11/1 = 12.0 betfair?
And how soon before the race would you suggest to place them.
    Cheers

11.0 Betfair or 10/1 .... place them at 10 seconds before the off if you are using a bot. Just make sure the clock on your pc is synchronised.

I've just tested all of the CSV links and they work fine. So it is something to do with the way your browser is handling the download. Right-click on the link and try to save to disk.

The CSV files are for importing into Betsender, and they will only open on a PC if you have MS Office, Open Office, or an Excel reader installed.

You are already doing enough if you are doing both of those lists.

    Hi Keith
Is the lay system in "system pack one" rules be automated via a bot or do you need to find the selections manually?

You need to find them manually, but it doesn't take long once you've been doing it for a week.

You would either have to ignore them or use Betsender for placing the bets if you can't set them up in the software you have now.
