    Windows 10 Update

    I have Windows 10

I'm not impressed at all with the new Edge Browser. I can't move sites on the Favorites Bar if they appear on the dropdown.... it doesn't even let you delete them! Plus you can't move the Fav list to the left . I've gone back to IE11.

The rest of the OS seems OK, but I haven't messed around with the apps yet.

I just bought a new touchscreen laptop, and I need to get out of the habit of touching it when I am just pointing at something

    Hi Keith,

I got 10 a couple of days ago, yes, it all seems ok (after a few tweaks and shuffling of apps). You are right about the Edge browser it is diabolical I have gone to Firefox and made it the default, seems to work great (and fully customiseable, which the Edge isn't)..... The big bummer is that Adblock plus does NOT work with Edge as they have done away with third party ActiveX stuff..... Madness

I managed to discover that IE11 is still on the system, hidden away amongst the tall trees and fog Thank for that. Microsoft say they will be supporting IE11 till 2018, so plenty of time to recode Edge so it looks and behaves like IE11

As I have so much software installed, it took me about 15 minutes to delete all the tiles it had put on the Start menu . Now I just have the weather and currency exchange prices. I still prefer the old Gadgets, so use 8GadgetPack for that. It would be nice if the tiles could be placed on the Desktop.

Apart from those niggles, everything runs fine.

I just found out that if I install a hacked version of Windows 7 Pro, then MS update it to W10 Pro. I may do that on another partition

    What! What!.... Shock horror!

Them tiles is weird, dunno why the just didn't leave the start as it was

Maybe time to develop the Win2win app, so that people can have a flashy little tile on their start menu
