    Unable to log in to Stan James & Boyle Sports

    Whenever I enter my login details for both Stan James and Boyle Sports - whose websites look pretty similar so I am guessing they use similar code - I get an error telling me "Sorry, the service is temporarily unavailable. Please contact customer services to place your bet."

    I have cleared my cache and cookies. I have tried another browser. No difference.

    I didn't have this problem at work, it only seems to affect my home desktop but as that's the PC I am using all the time now this is a bigger problem than it used to be.

    Anyone any ideas?

    I have been in touch with Stan James but they have no idea what the problem could be.

    Check you Internet Options in IE, somewhere you have blocked part of it.

    Any idea what I could have blocked and where?

    I have dropped my security level right down but it hasn't made any difference

    Somewhere in security it allows you to block certain sites/parts off.

    Put the security where it was, and then test with the Firewall off.

    Why don't you give me your log in details to see if I can log in here......ahem.....no? Ok.

    Are you using IE8? Not sure if you know but there is a button right next to the address bar which looks like a page being broken in half. Click that and try again (It switches back to IE7) If there is no buton that looks like the borken page, go to:

    Tools -> Compatability view settings -> then tick 'Display all pages in compatability view'

    Try again.....

    If this doesn't work try the following:

    Go to tools -> internet options -> advanced -> click 'restore advanced settings' and 'reset'

    Restart IE and try again. Let me know if any of this works.

    PS Will any sites let you log in securly ? Do you use betfair, ladbrokes or another site...

    let me know
