Absolutely Must See TV - Madness In The Fast Lane - BBC1

This programme was screened tonight (Tuesday) so you'll have to watch it on the BBC iPlayer.

If you ever used to watch Motorway Cops on the BBC about 18 months or so ago, you may remember an episode including footage of two Swedish twins who get apprehended by the police on the M6 but manage to break free and dash into the path of the oncoming motorway traffic, resulting in them both getting run down.

This is only the start of tonight's programme......the rest features the unbelievable events which took place in the days after this incident, involving one of the twins after she was released from hospital and police custody.......something that the BBC couldn't screen at the time.

Along with the compelling but somewhat disturbing live footage of the motorway incident, this was absolutely riveting TV (IMO) well worth a watch.

To be fair she wasn't a true blonde, so I'd hold back on that not letting swedish women in as a blanket decision Although I'd lock the knives away just in case

Seriously though there has to be something wrong with the justice system when even the judge was saying his hands were tied and he couldn't give the sentencing and reccommendations that he wanted to.

Doesn't it sort of open the door to somebody to pretend they are mentally ill, bump somebody off and then make a recovery? & why are the illnesses known mostly by French names...maybe I know that already....maybe?

Yes I agree. To lock her up doesn't need to be a punishment in such a case, it is make damn sure that it doesn't happen again and protect the public. & if they release her probably in the next year is it... I would be a very nervous person making the decision! If it happened again...it would make very big news.

They just seem like my normal circle of friends
