Well each passing day we move closer to the Cheltenham Festival. but I wouldn't bother with any ante-post bets these days, mainly due to the way our wonderful weather is these days. It could be 'good' on the first day, frozen on the second, and heavy for the other 2 days.

I'll be having a decent wedge on STORMING GALE in the 2:30 Carl.

Won a P2P last year, and although stepping up in class and giving weight to his main rival, he looks a very good stayer, and in this ground should come out on top. The trainer is also in good recent form. 20% SR in the last 2 weeks.

No offence Keith but I disagree on both counts:

1/ Chelt - as long as you're getting NR No Bet - you're still likely to be getting longer odds than you would come the day but

2/ 2.30 Carlisle

Neither of the first two in the betting has run on anything like this ground and

Senor Alco – 11 from 37, sire 30% on hvy grnd, like! 131

River Dragon – fig achieved 16f NHF fibresand & 2 lower over further 125

Storming Gale – sire 7 from 238 3% on heavy & likely fav ? ? 123

Breeeding has squat all to do with horses form, I've done extensive research on it in the past, and statistically no advantage over the life of a horse. If Lennox Lewis has 50-100 kids a year for 10 years and everyone was taught boxing, a few would turn out to be good at it, and the odd one pretty good.


I ended up dutching 3 horses in the 2:10 and hit the winner so pleased with that , and won a wad in the 2:20
