Wade against Part was a poor match especially compared to the draw that followed it. Really apparent that Mardle got the wildcard ahead of Lewis because he entertains the crowd rather than for the quality of his darts.

Yes looks like Mardle is going to be the whipping boy again. Iwas very dissapointed with Barney seemed to give up mid game. I think Thornton would of been a good choice rather than Mardle

Amazingly looking back at the PDC order of merit once the top six got in automaticaly Mardle was next in line, although that is probably because he did relatively well at last years world championship. He seems to be much more interested in entertaining rather than winning.

Have to agree about Thornton when you look at what he's achieved in the short time since he joined the PDC.
